Exploring Harvard

I spent some time walking around Harvard Square on Sunday. The architecture is old and imposing covered with ivy, the streets are lined with every sort of tree from huge old Oaks to Red Maples to common Sumac all turning bright colors and raining leaves down on the uneven brick sidewalks. This is the front of the B&B where we stayed in Cambridge.

  1. Oh I know that B&B! I used to walk down that street everyday from the house (where the 7 of us were renting) to catch the Red Line. Further up the street is where I would split with my roomate and he would head to teach his MicroBiology class. Good memories! There was this little place up the street like 6 blocks called Noodles that had these great italian pastries.

  2. I wouldn't recommend this B&B. It was pretty on the outside and the lobby was really nice and all dolled up but the room was really really bland. There wasn't even a headboard on the bed and not a single picture on the wall. It was overpriced and we had to carry our bags up four flights of stairs.

  3. Yay for brick streets!
I could tell you weren't thrilled in Cambridge, and I was really worried about your vacation....so glad it's gotten fabulous after that. I even told Aaron, "I don't think your mom likes the bed and breakfast where they're staying...hopefully they're going somewhere else soon." :)
